Pipe Bursting is one of the trenchless drain replacements methods where it is possible to replace sewer or drain lines without traditional trench. Meaning we won’t have to dig out your pipes and make a huge mess. In a nutshell we just need to access points for launch and receive to replace an old pipe.
How it works?
We have special tools that can expand pipes and break them into small pieces that work either on pneumatic or hydraulic power.
We insert this tool into the defective pipe and star pushing it through. The front end of the tool is narrower than the rest of it. The narrow end allows for easy travel and also carries a new pipe with it.
The end of the tool is fairly wide and expands. Once the new pipe was inserted as it follows the front end – the back end starts breaking the old pipe into smaller pieces and pushing it into the soil.
Our tools also include “fins” that are situated between front and trailing end. These fins allows for complete pipe bursting compared to older tools that were hit or miss operation.
